Solarpark 2.0

Operating existing and new PV systems more efficiently and economically is the goal of the project Solarpark 2.0. With the High Efficiency Low Effort Maximum Power Point Tracking circuit (HiLEM) patented by KIT for large PV systems with MPPT, power optimizers are to be developed that increase the yield per area, prolong the service life of the system, and reduce maintenance and operating costs. At the same time, the planning effort for future plants will be minimized and the influence of occurring planning errors reduced.
